Yes you read it right Sugar/Shakhar Paratha, this is one Paratha which I never say no when Mom ask for it and also it is less hassle for her coz she only has to make Sugar Paratha (Shakar Paratha)
Preparation of Shakhar Paratha/Sugar Paratha :
1. Knead the dough with 1/2 tablespoon oil and sufficient amount of water. The dough should be a little tougher than your average pizza dough.
2. Keep the dough aside for 1/2 an hour.
3. On your kitchen board, sprinkle a little dry flour. Make balls of the dough you had kneaded.
4. Roll one ball at a time into a circle and sprinkle sugar onto it
5. Fold the edges in wards like you do in a dumpling, ensuring that no filling is exposed.
6. Roll this dumpling so that it becomes a proper round again.
7. Very gently roll the ball in to a flat not to thin circle.
8. Heat a skillet to medium temperature. Grease it with oil, then cook both the sides of the Paratha, by flipping it over, so that the sides brown properly.
9. Your Shakhar Paratha is ready to eat.
You can eat it with Tomato Sauce.
Note this stuff can be very very hot from inside so eat it slowly

Suryavanshi Paan Bandar - A Paan for everyday
Located in Malad West S.V. Road for ages opposite Bajaj Hall, this Paan eating place is famous for its different style of Paan and the person who owns it, who is an eccentric fellow.
I used to go to his place at times but not that frequently, during Ganesh Chaturti after having meal, friends decided for some paan and we ended up at Suryavanshi.
As I am a fan of sweet paan ordered one but was super surprised when he sliced some flavored ice on the paan and they tasted super giving you a small brain freeze. Later we came to know he serves Chocolate Paan by that time we were 2 paans down.
Yesterday, with my paan fan sister we went again to have Chocolate Masala Paan, with the layering of ice the paan taste brilliant and also does not leave a leave that chocolaty taste for long. We then tried he Chutney and I think he had around 10 different flavors of them, Blackcurrant, rose, Kachi Keri, strawberry, pineapple, etc etc.
What is Chutney? Chutney is a sweet flavored masala put to give taste to paan.
So if you do want to try a different Paan try Suryavanshi Chocolate Paan only for Rs. 15

Paradise - Heavenly Food
Fifth Day of Ganesh Chaturti me and my friend Kaiwan decided on going to eat somewhere out as we left late from office. After contemplating of 100 of places we decided going to Paradise. Located near Strand Cinema if you walk/drive by too fast you will miss it.
We enter to an empty restaurant due to the fact that it was Visarjan day and people were scared to move out, place has some really awesome painting on the walls about Adam and Eve which we were laughing our ass out.
We started by ordering the Chicken Lolly which is a potato based and chicken filled inside it. Top it with a yellow mayo which you wont get anywhere else was super tasty. We had Roghan Chicken with it, the taste was like one made at home.
Then round 2 started where we had Chicken Cheese Roll, they did not mind putting a super hell lot of cheese in the food and we were happy a lot. Thinking we could have more we ordered Chicken Dhanshak and Chicken Pattie. We had so much we could barely walk and the total bill was Rs. 770 only without tax (management is going to introduce VAT from this week)
